Who Are We?

We are a group of concerned citizens consisting of parents, community members, employees, and students working for fair and equitable solutions to the discriminatory funding situation that currently exists in the State of Michigan funding of schools.  We believe the problem is self-evident, but that history has shown our state is unwilling and/or unable to address this problem in a manner that is beneficial to all children.  It is our intent to expose this problem for the discrimination that it is, and to enact change either through legislative or legal means.  It is not fair and is completely unacceptable for our state to provide limited educational opportunities to certain students and enhanced educational opportunities to other students simply based on the location of a student's residence.
